[New Hampshire] -- [Maine] [Vermont] [Massachusetts]

Grab your fishing rod or turkey call and come to the woods and waters of New Hampshire. New Hampshire has a beautiful section of productive saltwater [A1,A2,A3]. You can catch Striped Bass, Bluefish, Mackerel, Flounder, Codfish, Haddock, salmon and sea run brown trout, and Shad just to name a few.
Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts are also fine trout fishing states. There are also good coastal waters in these states.

Echo and Aleka both make fine Spey or specialized fly rods for large trout. They also have good lines for this.

New Hampshire is also blessed with a number of rivers designated "trophy waters" [A1] including the Upper and Lower Androscoggin, Connecticut, Ellis and Saco, and the Pemigewasset and Merrimack rivers. Many are open all year while others close to benefit the fishery.

Hunting is also a New England tradition. There are more than a million acres of public and private land open to hunting.
